Research: Double Page Spread Analysis 1

Using Mise En Scene to analyse, the picture contains three very formal looking country stars including Taylor Swift and neatly places an anchor at an image opening located at the top right, this tells me a country magazine should be neat and precise. This stops the anchor obstructing anything again adding to the formality of the page.

The magazine utilises a capital letter to signify the start of an article. This helps the customer to read the content.

The Taylor Swift quote has been placed very neatly in the middle of the text with red coloured quote text and red borders to signify to the reader this is an actual quote.

Using Mise En Scene we can see that the country demographic are conservative or traditional sticking to their roots as the picture with the male country star is wearing a traditional "Cowboy" or "Rancher" hat whilst in an award show where hats are ideally meant to be worn.
The colour palette of choice is red, black and white. Note these are not sharp or vibrant colours but neutral colours, this shows the country demographic does not wish to have sharp colours in their faces but more mature adult themed colours like black and red etc. and less child like colours e.g. purple and pink.

The text is not misaligned and put neatly in columns with no fragments of text protruding out of any column, showing that country music magazine as seen in other analyses are very neat and concise with their text and content focusing on making the presentation of articles to make it easier for the consumer/country demographic to read the magazine in general.
Also the columns are consistent in their sizes.
