Planning: Flat Plans

Using this flat plan it is visible that I have utilised a "Brand Identity" using consistent colour usage such as black, yellow/gold and consistent usage of Mastheads as it is promotes Bonafide throughout the three pages. The consistent colour usage is also evident via the models/fictional artists clothing and the prop acoustic guitar. Also it is visible that I have utilised banners throughout the magazine (including the Contents Page wood banner). The usage of the colour black is always consistent through the pages of the magazine staying loyal to the 3 colour palette of choice which are used in major magazines. The three colour palette of choice is visible within the models clothing promoting Bonafide as the colour of the magazine represents the brand.

PHOTOSHOOT MODEL: Jack (Colleague)

 

MATERIAL TO BE SHOT: Jack in a prone relaxed position with various props in his perimeter/vicinity.

 

PERSONNEL REQUIRED: Model and Photographer.

 

PROPS REQUIRED: Acoustic guitar, American Rancher hat

 

DESCRIPTION OF PHOTO REQUIRED: For the front cover photoshoot my model will be in a chequered shirt with a belt and rancher hat to give the American country feel and will need to be lying down in a prone position as this along with the other props such as the acoustic guitar in order to hint to the fictional artist's new album (using Mise En Scene within the picture via the props and model).

 

For my contents page I need the model to be in the same attire but in a standing position with his foot against the wall and a "face on" or "eyes on camera" medium shot from the shoulders.

 

For my double page spread I need my model to stand straight with a guitar in one hand.

 

TYPE OF LIGHTING REQUIRED: Natural sunlight.

 

LIGHTING EQUIPMENT: Sun.

 

SHOT TYPE REQUIRED: Longshot (Front cover) combined with medium shots (Double page spread and contents page).

 

BACKGROUND/BACKDROP: White wall.

 

 

RISK ASSESSMENT: Possible risks posing to my model and myself as the photographer is outside dangers e.g. Sunburn and the fact we are shooting in a car park with vehicle mobile and present poses another risk also.
